Doire Necklace

Doire is an ode to that lost woodland—and to the memory of a place that survives long after its landscape has changed.
Multiple strands of forest green and near-black beads descend from a dark hand-crocheted neckband, creating the density and quiet rhythm of trees standing together. Scattered brass forms appear between them like fragments of old bark and shafts of light breaking through a shadowed canopy. An off-centre brass talisman interrupts the order—an ancient marker, imperfectly preserved, still holding its ground.
