Nature rarely moves in straight lines. It curls into a fern, spirals through a shell, branches into coral and returns through root, river and vine. It is this unbroken rhythm that lies at the heart of Dúlra.
A long grey band is built slowly through rows of repetitive crochet. Upon it, gold-toned Celtic knots are individually sewn into place—an exacting, deeply labour-intensive dialogue between two distinct craft languages. The knot is approached not as a historic ornament to be copied, but as an expression of nature’s continuity: a line that repeatedly returns to itself, with neither beginning nor end.
